The events below are a chance for Members and Friends to get together informally. They are also for anyone interested in Bridport Cohousing to find out more and meet people already involved. Children, partners and friends all very welcome.

We hold the following events so that you can have a chance to meet your potential neighbours. Come along and bring your questions about becoming a member and buying/renting a new eco-home from us.


Gardening day at Flaxhayes (our allotment) on the ‘to New Mills’ road, off St Swithins Road.
Usually 1st Sunday of the month (2 to 4pm) at our allotment (weather permitting). A chance to meet and chat to some of our members and do some gentle gardening (tea break included!). Children welcome.

Tuesday 10th: 2.30 to 4pm

“Meet the neighbours” at The Beach and Barnicott – Information meeting for Potential New Members. We shall be in the upstairs room (ask at the bar if you can’t find us).


Sunday 15th: 10am start

Join us for a gentle walk and chat to Symondsbury Kitchen café starting from our future housing site. About 1 mile each way with a stop for (optional) breakfast, elevenses….brunch. Meet by Bridport Cohousing’s land at the top end of Hospital Lane, off North Allington, near the hospital car park. Wear appropriate footwear (if preferred, meet at the café at about 10.45). Family friendly, dog friendly.


Tuesday 17th: 7 to 9pm

“Meet the neighbours” skittles evening at Woodman pub, 61 South Street (opposite St Mary’s church). Come along for a fun evening and meet some members. Children welcome. No skittling skill required !!
