The events below are a chance for Members and Friends to get together informally. They are also for anyone interested in Bridport Cohousing to find out more and meet people already involved. Children, partners and friends all very welcome.

Bridport Cohousing have now decided, in response to the Covid 19 situation, to tentatively introduce some outdoor events with social distancing.
We still continue with our online meetings using Zoom. These will count as proper events for those people who want to progress their membership. See below.

In all our meetings you can have a chance to meet your potential neighbours and ask questions about becoming a member and buying/renting a new eco-home from us.

August 2020

Wednesday 19th: 5.30 to 7pm

Online chat via Zoom – “Meet the Neighbours” in the comfort of your own living room.

Members from Bridport Cohousing will host an online conversation. If you’d like to join us, please email for details of how to log in.

Sunday 23rd: 12noon to 2pm

“Meet the Neighbours” picnic.  Community Orchard (behind St Mary’s Church on South St, also access via St Michaels Lane).  The venue has had to be changed. Please keep an eye out here for the final decision.

Come and meet the Bridport Cohousing neighbours for a socially distanced picnic, please check the website for possible cancellation if weather unsuitable for outdoor dining. Please bring your own food and perhaps something to sit on.

(Government advice on outdoor engagments with others – they are permitted given the risk of transmission is lower outdoors. However, you should only be seated with members of one other household and, wherever possible, socially distance from those you do not live with – or who are not in your support bubble – to reduce the risk of chains of transmission.)

We shall be organising further events. Please keep an eye on this page.
