Events

The events below are a chance for Members and Friends to get together informally. They are also for anyone interested in Bridport Cohousing to find out more and meet people already involved. Children, partners and friends all very welcome.

ONGOING EVENTS:

We hold the following events so that you can have a chance to meet your potential neighbours. Come along and bring your questions about becoming a member and buying/renting a new eco-home from us.

 

Gardening day at Flaxhayes (our allotment) on the ‘to New Mills’ road, off St Swithins Road.
Usually 1st Sunday of the month (2 to 4pm) at our allotment (weather permitting). A chance to meet and chat to some of our members and do some gentle gardening (tea break included!). Children welcome.

January 2020

 

Sunday 5th: 2 to 4pm

Gardening @ our allotment – with tea & cake – a chance to meet people from the group and do some gentle gardening (see further above this page). Today we hope to do some apple tree pruning.

 

Wednesday 8th: 10.30 to 12 noon

“Meet the Neighbours” at Green Yard Cafe, 6 Barrack Street, Bridport. Find out more about our project.

 

Sunday 19th: 10am (to about 12 noon)

Meet at Buckydoo Square for a gentle walk to the the Rise West Bay (about a mile or so), or make your own way and meet there at 10.45am. Children and dogs welcome. Could be muddy!

 

Tuesday 21st: 7 to 9pm

Skittles evening at the Woodman pub, 61 South Street (opposite St Mary’s church). Come along for a fun evening and meet some members. Children welcome. No skittling skill required !!

 

Sunday 26th: 2 to 4pm

“Meet the Neighbours” in the snug at The George, 4 South Street and find out more about our cohousing project. Families welcome.
