Judith Griffies Chair
Judith is a retired teacher and has previously worked in counselling, training, social and community work. She and her family have lived in West Dorset for more than 40 years. For seven years Judith was a director of a local rural CLT which built eight affordable homes. She is an experienced leader, organiser and administrator.
Vince O’Farrell Secretary
Vince lives in Bridport and has served as our Treasurer. He is a founding board member of Symene CLT Limited, another local community-led affordable housing project which was completed in 2015. He was previously a software developer, project manager and primary school teacher. He is also Secretary or Treasurer of a number of other volunteer-led organisations and charities in Bridport.
Monica King Director
Monica is a retired Higher Education Administrator. She has developed organisational skills in various roles, managing teams and HR processes within large and small organisations. She is one of our founder members and a recent recipient of a National CLT Network award!
Paul Crouch Director
Paul joined the Directors Circle in 2024 and brings practical experience of construction methods and a relatively youthful energy. He grew up and has lived in the area for much of his life.
Phyllida Culpin Non-Executive Director
Phyllida has a background in social housing – in particular regeneration, community development and social inclusion. She is currently a Non-Executive Director for Magna Housing and an independent member for Catalyst Housing. She holds other roles for housing-related organisations in the area.
Young Director
Every year Bridport Cohousing reserves a place on the Board (through co-option or election) for a community resident representative aged between 16 and 18.
